For Jules

Rehabilitation therapy of Marussia F1 driver Jules Bianchi started in the France, but he is still unconscious

We have seen two crashes of formula one drivers in past years, an accident of seven times F1 world champion Michael Schumacher when he faced a serious head injury during skiing and then comes Jules Bianchi, an F1 Marussia Driver faced a collision with a recovery truck. It was a rainy season of Japanese Grand Prix in October when he crashed into a recovery truck, removing Adrian Sutil’s Sauber from the circuit. Initial accident cause investigation reports show that it was Bianchi’s fault as he ignored the double yellow flag and failed to slow down that lead him to a collision. He collided the car with the crane at the speed of 78 miles per hour. He was taken to the Mie Prefectural General Medical Center in Japan for care. Like the case of Michael Schumacher, he stayed in an artificially induced coma for seven weeks.

Bianchi’s present condition keeps showing signs of progress in health, though. A month ago in November, he was taken out of the coma and moved to the special intensive care hospital in his own country, France, although he was still unconscious, but he could breathe on his own.

His family has announced in a press conference that the driver is recovering very swiftly and he is shifted to a rehabilitation centre that specialises in caring for patients with this kind of trauma.

Family of Jules Bianchi said, “As we reach the conclusion of a difficult year for our family, we wanted to take this opportunity to provide a further update regarding Jules’ medical situation, per our pledge to communicate continued information, when appropriate, to his many fans. It was a significant and very comforting step for us to be able to bring Jules home to France last month, to continue his rehabilitation surrounded by his family and friends. This is very important for Jules and also for us.”

We pray for his good health.
