Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class to host innovative and optimal lighting technology for 2015

Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class was unveiled in 2014 with host of technologies and advanced features but all of those technologies and innovations were not impressive than Mercedes’ new Multibeam LED headlights.

It is a highly advanced lightning technology which is made up of almost 24 individual high-performance LED lights and each of them is individually controllable to adapt certain traffic conditions on the road. This gridded light source is capable of emitting the customised lighting distribution from both headlights. It keeps optimal lighting across the road whatever the traffic conditions are, it suits both driver and other drivers on the road.

According to Mercedes-Benz, it is a revolutionary technology but Mercedes will take it to the horizons of innovation. The German automaker also plans to introduce Multibeam LED headlights with 84 individually controllable LEDs. This setup of LED cluster will optimise vision on the road and create higher resolution of the output. It will also improve the brightness for driver and offer enhanced safety for other drivers coming towards you. This technology will safeguard the drivers in oncoming lane from getting blinded by high beams.

This is the start of company’s intelligent light system which will be capable of being digitally controlled without any human interaction or any mechanical aid from actuators.

All these facts about the new lighting technology show that Mercedes-Benz will strongly rival their fellow countrymen BMW. A few months earlier BMW has introduced an advanced lighting technology called laser beam Matrix LEDs. This is the point where LED headlights technology race begins.
