Toyota Verso is an impressive MPV with lots of practicalities, performance and outputs. It is well built by the manufacturer to take seven people anywhere. For big families, it is a good tag to buy with great affordability. It has been trustworthy over the years. Though it is not a hot cake in its class but it is a great vehicle to live with. Its driving experience is very good along with smooth, calm and relaxed behavior. Its long wheel based structure means enough space for all occupants. Toyota engine range is also good, especially the diesel one.

Gear stick is very high on position in centre console and very easy to operate. In different trim levels, New Toyota has used different equipment but with same standard features in all. Toyota Verso has direct competition with Renault Grand Scenic due to its similarity and practicality. Both has same interior look and have a good match.
It is a people carrier and it should have lots of practical features and equipment to accommodate its occupants well and it has lots of practicalities in it. Its features are very helpful in its good repute generally. Standard features are ABS, air conditioning, standard air bags, steering wheel rake and reach adjustment, adaptive cruise control, traction control, dual zone climate control, CD player, DVD player optional, Sat Nav, parking sensors, reverse camera, lane departure indicator, remote locking, central locking, heated seats and heated mirrors, electric windows, LED head lamps with washers and ISOFIX children seat anchor points.
Diesel engines are its plus points. It has good and strong diesel engines though it has petrol engines also but their performance is not worthy one in front of the performance of diesel one. There is a 2.2-Litre D-CAT engine with 147bhp and 251lb/ft torque. It takes 9.8 seconds to reach from 0-62m/h along with top speed of 121m/h. Fuel consumption of this engine is 41m/g along with 178g/km of Co2 emissions. It is fitted with manual and auto transmissions and front-wheel drive unit as standard.
In petrol, there is a 1.8-Litre V-Matic engine having capability of 144bhp and 133lb/ft torque. It takes 10.1 seconds to get from 0-62m/h and its top speed is 115m/h. The best point of this engine is its fuel average under the weight of seven people. It offers 40m/g with 165g/km of Co2 emissions. There is no automatic transmission available in petrol engine. Only six-speed manual gearbox with front-wheel drive assembly is available to use.
