It is expected that the fourth-generation Toyota Prius hybrid is coming up with the 1.8-litre petrol engine with a separate electric power unit to drive the rear wheel and downsized electric motor. But it is important to note that “e-4WD” system will work only at the speed of up to 37mph. Nickel-metal hybrid battery is another salient feature of the fourth generation Toyota Prius-hybrid which increases charging time.

The advantages and benefits of the fourth-generation Toyota Prius hybrid are not only limited to fuel efficiency and carbon emissions instead designers have given a complete new look to the model. The model has vertical taillights and huge swept back headlamps and it has a more aerodynamic look than its predecessors. Apart from that Toyota has added a new steering wheel design.

The prices of the fourth-generation Toyota Prius hybrid models will start from £25,000, the increase of prices is because of sophisticated mechanical packages and other cool features.
