Once it gets the approval, it will be valid under European type approval laws across the European Union.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"When_The_Recall_is_Going_to_Start\"><\/span>When The Recall is\u00a0Going to Start?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Audi has refused to comment on that question and does not give any number of affected cars in the rest of the Europe and neither the date when it is going to start the recall in the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/European_Union\">EU markets outside Germany.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>And Audi spokesman just said that \u201cour target date to begin implementing [the recall in Germany] is early March, pending approval by the KBA for the measures.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_Many_Audi_Cars_are_Really_Affected\"><\/span>How Many Audi Cars are Really Affected?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Volkswagen has already admitted of installing the cheat device in more than 11 million diesel vehicle sold globally under its brands like Audi, Seat, Skoda and VW and more than 8.5 million of them were sold in Europe alone. An approval has been won by VW brand to start the fix in Europe for 8.5 million diesel vehicles.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.engines4sale.co.uk\/eng-model.asp?size=2.0&amp;part=all-audi-a4diesel-engine&amp;mo_id=31283\">Audi A4 2.0-litre diesel<\/a><\/strong> version is going to be the first one on the recall list and the models with 1.6-litre diesel engine will be getting fix in September.
